Exodus 12

"He summoned Moses and Aaron during the night and said, 'Get up, leave my people, both you and the Israelites, and go, worship the Lord as you have asked.'"
Exodus 12:31

Pharaoh, after witnessing the Passover and the death of the firstborn in every house of Egypt, is begging the Israelites to leave.  He finally recognizes the supreme power of the God of Israel, and he knows that he can't compete with Him.

The people of Israel are already dressed for travel because that's how God instructed them to eat their Passover meal, with sandals on their feet and staff in their hands.  They wrap up their unleavened bread-bowls and leave, and on their way out all the Egyptians give them gold and silver and whatever they requested.

God instructs His people to continue this Passover festival once every year for generations to come, so that His people will never forget how God saved them from their slavery in Egypt.

Question: What do you do on a regular basis to remember ways that God has rescued you?
