Exodus 28

"You are to make a plate of pure gold and engrave it, like the engraving of a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.  Fasten it to a cord of blue yarn so it can be placed on the turban; the plate is to be on the front of the turban.  It will be on Aaron's forehead so that Aaron may bear the guilt connected with the holy offerings that the Israelites consecrate as all their holy gifts.  It is always to be on his forehead, so that they may find acceptance with the Lord."
Exodus 28:36-38

Jesus wears this title for you and for me.  He is high priest of the body-temple.  He bears the guilt of the world, yet still finds acceptance with His Father.

Question of the Day:
Are you able to find acceptance with the Lord on your own?  Have you accepted Jesus as the high priest who can forever bear your guilt?  If so, how do you show him your thanks?

Prayer of the Day:
Jesus, You alone are holy.  Without Your salvation, I am nothing.  Continue Your great work inside of me so that I might become more like You.  God, find favor in me for Your Son loves me.  Bring me into Your Kingdom and teach me Your ways.  Help me to know how I might better serve You.  Amen.
