Exodus 9

"Make an appeal to the Lord.  There has been enough of God's thunder and hail.  I will let you go; you don't need to stay any longer."
Exodus 9:28

Pharaoh recognizes his sinfulness and his separation from God, and knows he is unworthy of speaking to the Lord.  He requests that Moses make an appeal for him, since he knows God will not listen to his own voice.  This is why Jesus told us to pray in His name.  We are all unworthy, but Jesus bridges that gap.  Since Jesus is righteous, He can speak to God for us.  Since His Spirit lives within us, we are cleansed of all unrighteousness and are worthy to go before God.

Question: For what sins do you need to make an appeal to the Lord?  After you make this appeal and get relief, will you allow your heart to harden like Pharaoh, or will you continue to follow the Lord?
