Sorry I missed this morning. I was running super late today and things were just too hectic for me to read or make any kind of meaningful comments. Tomorrow morning, I'll make up for it with two chapters - the final chapter in Numbers and the first in Deuteronomy. In those two chapters, you'll see a few more instructions from the Lord and (surprise, surprise) MORE disobedience from the Israelites! Go figure... I guess this is one of those facts of life that's so true of all of us, but we almost always fail to see it except in others.
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me to keep my daily schedule clear enough to include this special time with you that I missed this morning. My whole day was a little more off-kilter than usual because of it, and in such a hectic world I need that little bit of peace You give, which stays with me throughout the day. Forgive me for putting my own needs before Yours, and help me to give back to You even more in the future. Amen.
