Most of us can't stand it when we're prevented from taking revenge. We want to see others suffer in the name of justice for their actions against us. What we don't realize is that any action we take in avenging our own selves is not justice at all.
Only the Lord is Just, and therefore only the Lord can deliver true justice.
Question of the Day:
Are you blameless enough to throw the first stone? Are you shameful enough of your own sin to walk away and allow the Lord to be Judge?
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, forgive my lack of forgiveness. Teach me to treat others with the utmost respect even if they have done me harm. Help me to step aside and let You be Judge, no matter how much someone has hurt me. Amen.
